AECOLD drying tunnel
The AEOLUS, ZEPHYR and ZEPHYR PLUS tunnels are PLUG&PLAY machines
That is, they do not need any other connection to the outside other than the electricity supply and mains water. In fact, all models have an independent direct expansion heat pump inside and an electrical panel on the machine. Electricity and water consumption are the lowest currently on the market.

The cycle is divided into two phases
Dehumidification phase
The product is hit by hot, dry air in counterflow. This flow of hot, dry air “absorbs” the water on the surface of the product, before passing into an evaporative battery which allows the separation of the water (coming from the product) from the process air.
Cooling phase
The dry product is hit by counter-current cold air to bring the product back to the optimal temperature to guarantee the continuation of the cold chain and therefore obtain a product that respects the highest quality standards.
